Céline Guichard

Céline Guichard est née le 25 novembre 1970. Elle vit et travaille dans le sud-ouest de la France. C'est une artiste visuelle qui produit des images étranges, surréalistes, fantastiques et grotesques inspirées de ses obsessions pour la biologie humaine, l’anormalité, le rêve, la nature, et la transgression. Elle a surtout pratiqué la peinture jusqu’à la fin des années 90 avant de se consacrer au Web-art et au dessin début 2000. Depuis une vingtaine d’années, elle est très active sur la scène mondiale du dessin contemporain à travers ses participations à de nombreuses revues, comme Hôpital brut, La tranchée Racine, Minchõ, Hey!, AX magazine, etc. Elle a exposé à la galerie Da End, chez Arts Factory, au Miam, à l'Espace Topographie de l'Art, au Sterput... Elle a signé à ce jour 23 monographies chez divers éditeurs, comme De l'Amour, Ed. Strane Dizioni, YokaÏ, Ed. Le dernier Cri, Feutre, Ed. Marguerite Waknine, Sylviane, Ed. Crocuta Crocuta, et collabore régulièrement avec des graveurs et graveuses, des sérigraphes, des poètes et des écrivain.nes. En 2018 elle est lauréate de la résidence croisée Villa Médicis / Maison des Auteurs - Cité Internationale de la Bande Dessinée et de l'Image... Céline Guichard was born on November 25, 1970. She lives and works in the southwest of France. She is a visual artist who produces strange, surreal, fantastic and grotesque images inspired by her obsessions with human biology, abnormality, dreams, nature, and transgression. She mainly practiced painting until the end of the 90's before devoting herself to web-art and drawing in early 2000. For the past twenty years, she has been very active on the world scene of contemporary drawing through her participation in numerous magazines, such as Hôpital brut, La tranchée Racine, Minchõ, Hey! and AX magazine. She has exhibited at the Da End gallery, at Arts Factory, at Miam, at the Espace Topographie de l'Art, at Sterput… She has signed to date 23 monographs with various publishers, such as De l'Amour, Ed.
